Arzano - 53 arrests of the Amato-Pagano clan: among those arrested is the rapper "The Gambler" (pictured). Among those arrested on charges of mafia-type association, extortion, possession of weapons and other charges is Vincenzo Vallifuoco, a 35-year-old from Arzano who for a time, together with another well-known neomelodic singer, was involved in the investigation that beheaded the rapper in 2022. Christian clan from Arzano -, attempted to climb the ladder in the world of rapper music.

According to the investigation, Vincenzo Vallifuoco, together with Angelo Pagano, and in collusion with each other, reinvested in economic activities sums of money from crimes aggravated by mafia methods, such as bid-rigging, extortion, usury, and other crimes committed in order to facilitate the activities of the Amato-Pagano clan. Specifically, they used these funds to acquire, through a company represented by Vallifuoco but actually owned by Pagano, another company associated with the same sector that managed a slot machine parlor located in Melito di Napoli, on Via Circumvallazione Esterna.

Specifically, Vincenzo Vallifuoco established yet another company in June 2021 with a fully paid-up share capital of €10.000 and, with it, acquired the company relating to the aforementioned slot machine hall in the city of Melito di Napoli for a declared amount of €30.000, also bearing the costs of several months of the rental fees for the premises of the slot machine hall (equal to at least €6.500).

The aggravating circumstance under Article 416-bis-1 of the Criminal Code was for having committed the crime using Camorra-style methods and for the purpose of benefiting the secessionist clan dominant in the territories of Melito and Mugnano di Napoli. The Amato Pagano clan, which operates in the municipalities of northern Naples, makes "constant and systematic use of TikTok and Instagram," Naples Prosecutor Nicola Gratteri confirmed.

"They flaunt their wealth on TikTok and Instagram: gold watches, luxury cars. They do it," Gratteri said, "to display their power, to appear, not just to be, rich, to be seen as successful, as a winning role model, to gain publicity by reaching out to people who are thinking of joining a criminal organization to become rich and powerful." In fact, Vallifuoco himself, aka The Gambler, in addition to his Facebook presence where he chats with drug lords from Arzano, showed off his “art” on YouTube.

It's strange that this rapper, who seems to live in wealth, is involved in such serious things as the mafia. Music should be for entertainment, not for doing business with clans. Let's hope that justice takes its course.

It's incredible how music can be linked to illegal activities, but it seems like every sector is affected by these situations. I hope the authorities can do a good job and stop these phenomena.

It's really strange how some people can use their fame to cover up criminal activities. Society needs to do more to educate young people about the risks and negative influence that some models can have.
