The City Council of Naples has approved a resolution that establishes, on an experimental basis, the fares for the elevator that connects Santa Lucia to Monte Echia. This route is considered an additional service within the public transport service contract.
Until December 31, 2024, and barring new provisions, the fares will be as follows: 1,50 euros for a single uphill ticket and 1,50 euros for a single downhill ticket. The service will be free for local public transport season ticket holders and for residents of the following streets in the neighborhood:
Piazza Santa Maria degli Angeli, Via Santo Spirito di Palazzo, Via Gennaro Serra, Via Monte Di Dio, Via Egiziaca in Pizzofalcone, Via Nuova in Pizzofalcone, Via Pallonetto in Santa Lucia, Vico Solitaria, Vico Egiziaca in Pizzofalcone, via Solitaria, Supportico D'Astuti, viale Calascione, via Nunziatella and Salita Echia.
