Yesterday evening, around 20:1 PM, along the AXNUMX motorway towards Rome, a car suddenly caught fire between the Caserta and Santa Maria Capua Vetere toll booths. The driver, noticing the flames coming out of the vehicle, managed to stop promptly in the emergency lane and save himself before the entire car was engulfed in flames.
After getting to safety, the man called for help. The following intervened on the scene: firefighters, who took steps to put out the fire and secure the area. The origin of the fire could be a short circuit, but other causes, such as a mechanical failure, are not excluded.

The event of last night on the A1 motorway makes us reflect on how important road safety is. We hope that the authorities will better control vehicles to prevent similar accidents in the future, especially for mechanical failures.
