The Guardia di Finanza of Avellino, in collaboration with the Carabinieri of Monteforte Irpino, has carried out a preventive seizure of assets with a value of 180.632,74 € against the legal representative of a company in the Irpinia capital operating in the stationery supplies sector. The operation was coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Avellino and authorized by the judge for preliminary investigations.
According to the investigations, the suspect would have exploited the platform 18 app, intended for the provision of public funds for culture, to defraud the Ministry of Culture. After registering his business on the official website of the culture bonus, the man allegedly issued false invoices for supplies of goods and services that were never delivered or were only partially delivered.
