A 16-year-old girl with mental health issues was rescued by the Torre Annunziata Carabinieri following a report from Telefono Azzurro. The young woman, who was threatening to throw herself in front of a train at the Boscoreale station, was contacted by phone by a Carabinieri officer who, through a conversation, helped her express her distress.
During the conversation, the soldier listened and proposed solutions while a patrol went to the place. Thanks to the double telephone and direct communication, the carabinieri gained the girl's trust, who accepted their help, concluding the intervention in a better state of mind.
