Edoardo Bove has left the Careggi hospital, where he had been hospitalized since December 1st following the illness that struck him during the Fiorentina-Inter match. In the 17th minute of the first half, the midfielder, owned by Roma and currently on loan to the Viola team, collapsed on the pitch, causing great concern among his teammates and fans.
During his hospitalization last Tuesday, the footballer was implanted with a removable subcutaneous defibrillator, a precautionary measure to monitor and prevent further cardiac complications.
In the next few hours, bove will visit the management, coach Raffaele Palladino and his teammates at Viola Park. Fiorentina has expressed its full support for the player, who will continue his recovery with the utmost medical attention.
