Caivano. The new link road that directly connects the Caivano Industrial Area to the SS87 NC Sannitica, in the direction of Marcianise, was inaugurated this morning. A project that has been awaited for years and will significantly improve traffic flow and promote the economic development of the area.
Funded by the Region Campania With 1,8 million euros of FSC funds, the new infrastructure will allow heavy vehicles to reach the industrial area more quickly and safely, avoiding congestion on city streets.
“This is a fundamental work for an industrial area that represents an important engine for the economy of our region,” underlined the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, during the inauguration ceremony. “With this intervention we want to support businesses and create new job opportunities.”
Satisfaction was also expressed by the deputy mayor of the metropolitan city, Giuseppe Cirillo, who highlighted how the new link road will connect two important industrial hubs, Caivano and Marcianise, promoting commercial and logistical exchanges.
The details of the intervention
The works, carried out by the Metropolitan City of Naples, involved the expansion and redevelopment of the access ramps to the industrial area, the construction of a new roundabout and the improvement of the signage.
“We managed to complete the work on schedule, demonstrating our ability to create modern and functional infrastructure,” Cirillo said.
A strategic industrial area
The Caivano Industrial Area hosts approximately 115 companies and employs over 3.700 people. With the new link road, an increase in economic activity and an improvement in the quality of life for citizens is expected.

Despite this important achievement, there are still many challenges to face. The Campania Region and the Metropolitan City of Naples are committed to continuing to invest in infrastructure and services to promote the development of the territory.
