The Italian State Police bomb squad provides advice to ensure safe celebrations, reminding us that their work extends beyond the holiday season. These "specialists" are active year-round throughout the country, neutralizing and destroying explosive devices.
During 2024, the bomb disposal experts carried out over 6.900 operations, which include inspections and clearances of places involved in demonstrations, conferences and other major events. At the same time, they conducted a vast activity to combat the illegal marketing of explosive materials, leading to the seizure of 23.500 kg of illicit products.
