A 90-year-old grandmother, alone and defenseless, was found at home without food for two days. The alarm was raised when the caregiver hired to care for her suddenly disappeared, leaving her without any means of providing for herself.
The woman, who lives in an apartment building in Casalnuovo di Napoli, was unable to move independently due to a problem with her legs and was completely isolated from the outside world: no telephone, no contact with the neighborhood.

It is really sad to know that a 90 year old woman was found at home without food. I do not understand how this can happen, but I think that the institutions must do more to protect the elderly. The caregiver should have been more responsible.
