Caserta is preparing to host a major cultural event with 'Strad'Aperta - Festa dell'Emigrante 2024', scheduled for December 27. The event will transform Via San Carlo into a vibrant hub of activity, featuring music, art, and free events open to all.
Promoted by the Circolo Arci Galileo in collaboration with the Comitato per Villa Giaquinto, the event aims to unite the community through moments of sharing and social regeneration.
Domenico D'Ambrosio, president of the Circolo Arci Galileo, emphasized the importance of the initiative: "Strad'Aperta is not just a celebration, but a vision for the future. Via San Carlo, with its enormous multicultural and historical potential, deserves to return to being a vibrant, shared, and inclusive place. Too often, we see this street suffer from neglect and economic hardship. With this initiative, we want to demonstrate that a different future is possible, a future of accessible culture, public space, and shared beauty."
An Event for Everyone
The evening will offer the opportunity to experience Via San Carlo in a new way, allowing residents, merchants, and citizens to participate, along with emigrants returning for the Christmas holidays.

It is a very interesting event that brings culture and activities for everyone. I hope that citizens participate actively, but also that there is good organization, to avoid problems during the evening. It would be nice to see more people involved.
