There is a security alert among theAgro Nocerino , Valle dell'Irno, where there has been an escalation in home burglaries. In the last few hours, three apartments have been burgled in De Ciccio Street by a well-organized gang, composed of at least three people. The criminals, with their faces covered, used a radio to coordinate, reporting in real time the possible arrival of law enforcement or owners.

The gang used a well-tested technique: one of the members, positioned on a balcony, acted as "owl", providing instructions to accomplices who were busy forcing the entrances. Thanks to this system, the criminals managed to enter the apartments, taking away cash and valuables.
Over the weekend, another attempted theft was foiled in Mazzini street. The owners, suspicious of noises coming from outside, alerted the police and chased away two intruders. According to witnesses, they were “acrobat thieves”, capable of scaling walls and reaching balconies in seconds.
A wave of failed attempts
There were other attempts to break into the areas of Passiano e Saint Lucia, where residents have reported suspicious movements. The wave of thefts has generated great concern among the inhabitants, prompting local authorities to intensify night-time checks and to invite citizens to exercise maximum caution.
Investigations are underway to identify the gang members, while calls for increased police presence to counter the criminal escalation that is spreading panic in the city are multiplying.
