The wave of severe weather continues in Campania, causing damage and disruption. High-speed ferry services to Ischia, Procida, and Capri have been partially cancelled due to rough seas in the Gulf of Naples.
Damage, due to strong winds and heavy rains, is found in the Salerno area and, precisely, in the Ponte Barizzo area of Capaccio Paestum. There, the Agropoli firefighters are busy carrying out safety interventions and removing trees and telecommunication poles that have fallen on the road, also causing problems for traffic.
Meanwhile, the Civil Protection of the Campania Region has extended the current yellow level weather alert for scattered precipitation for a further 24 hours: the critical situation will remain until 23.59pm tomorrow, Monday.
Tomorrow parks closed in Naples

It's really frustrating to see how nature can cause so much disruption. We hope everyone is safe and things can get back to normal as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, bad weather always causes damage every year, but I wonder if there are long-term plans to prevent similar situations in the future. Prevention is key.
I honestly don't know how to handle such a serious situation. The damage is so much and people need immediate help. I hope the authorities act quickly to solve the problems.
