Since the beginning of December, after the singular outcome of the no-confidence vote against Mayor Luigi Maglione, who was sent home early by his own majority, with much media coverage, the Municipality has been entrusted to the Extraordinary Commissioner, Deputy Prefect Giovanni Lucchese.
A little more than a few months after taking office, the commissioner has started a series of consultations with all managers so that there is a thorough survey and subsequent report on the critical issues and corrective measures to be implemented for each individual sector. In particular, it was necessary to rebalance the workloads with the managers. And, even if the time available to the vice prefect is really short, he reiterated that "the appointment of a commissioner must not be a missed opportunity".
In fact, the first step will be the approval of the budget and related financial statements.

I read the article and it seems to me that Commissioner Lucchese is doing a good job to reorganize things in the Municipality. But I wonder if it will be enough to solve all the critical issues that emerged with the no-confidence vote in the mayor. I hope that the funds will be used effectively.
