The Casa del Mandolino e delle Arti del Mediterraneo has organized a significant musical event in the suggestive setting of Piazza Museo Filangieri. The event has as its central theme the Sarno River, with the aim of combining music and social awareness regarding the pollution of the river and the enhancement of the territory.
A Journey Through History and Music
The concert entitled “God SARON, stories and legends of the River God” features the performance of the ensemble Corde del Saron, accompanied by the “Priestesses of the River God”, interpreted by the talents of Valeria De Pascale and Rosalba Canfora. During the evening, Francesco Orlando, of the Association “Controcorrente per il Sarno che venire”, will offer a testimony of the environmental battles conducted over the years. The program, created by Maestro Luca Petrosino, intertwines historical stories, Latin texts and popular stories, emphasizing the economic importance of the waters of the Sarno and their impact on local communities. The musical repertoire ranges from WA Mozart to P. Mascagni, creating a suggestive atmosphere for reflection.
Invitation to Reflection
The event not only offers a compelling musical experience, but also invites spectators to reflect on current environmental challenges. Students from the Galizia Music High School in Nocera Inferiore also participate in the event, highlighting the importance of education and the commitment of new generations. The evening will end with a toast, symbolizing the link between culture and nature.
