The new course for Scouts, designed to train professionals capable of operating at the highest levels in the scouting area of football clubs, was inaugurated this morning in the Aula Magna of the Federal Technical Center of Coverciano. After a rigorous selection process, which included a written test followed by an oral interview, 40 candidates began lessons today, which will continue until December 18, for a total of 72 hours of intensive training.
Antonio Tramontano, coordinator of the course, highlighted the growing importance of the scouting area in professional football: “At high-profile clubs, scouting is becoming increasingly crucial. Our goal is to provide up-to-date training in line with the demands of modern football, preparing participants to work at the highest levels.”
Among the students there are some prominent names, both among those working in the field and among former footballers. Among them, Andrea Gasbarroni, former midfielder of the Olympic National team that won a bronze medal in Athens 2004 and currently on the Juventus staff. Also present are Silvio Broli, historical head of the basic activity of Milan, and Andrea Iore, Head of Recruitment of Roma. The course also includes the general secretary of Cittadella, Andrea De Poli, and Enrico Iodice, former technical collaborator at Verona and to Rome.
