It was a day to forget for approximately 200 passengers on the Easyjet flight that departed Milan Malpensa at 16:8 PM today, December XNUMXth, bound for Salerno Costa D'Amalfi Airport. Due to adverse weather conditions, the plane was diverted to Bari, leaving the passengers without clear information about their onward journey.
“They warned us during the flight: we don't know what we will do, nor if any transfers by land have been organized,” said Antonio Ilardi, president of Federalberghi Salerno, among the passengers on board. “Moreover, this flight started in a particular way, since before take-off the compagnia left a passenger on the ground due to an argument with a boarding assistant,” Ilardi added.
According to the president of Federalberghi, the episode highlighted problematic management by the airline, which had even considered canceling the flight. “It was a poorly managed episode by Easyjet", concluded Ilardi, expressing the discomfort of many passengers involved in a day marked by unforeseen events and poor service.
