A unique event is planned for Sunday, December 8th, at the Monastery of Santa Chiara in Naples, where 160 flutists from across Italy will perform, along with two international musicians from Warsaw and Nuremberg. This occasion will see a European record set by the largest flute orchestra, led by a conductor, who will perform a Christmas repertoire selected through the "Altri Natali" competition promoted by the City of Naples.
The program, called “Other Flutes for Other Christmases,” will feature classic Christmas songs enriched by famous Southern Hemisphere standards, known for their lively musicality, offering an experience that challenges the traditional winter image of Christmas.

### Falaut Flute Orchestra: origins and goals
The Falaut Flute Orchestra was founded four years ago thanks to the collaboration between Maestro Paolo Totti and the Italian Flautists Association (AFI). In 2024, it received the first national Art Bonus award for culture, awarded by the Ministry of Environmental Heritage and Culture, with 18.000 global votes, beating out major institutions such as the Teatro Regio di Parma.
### Inclusive participation with FalauTogether
For this special performance, the orchestra expanded with the FalauTogether project, including musicians of different ages and skill levels, from students to amateur flutists. The Scuola a Indirizzo Musicale Andrea Argoli of Tagliacozzo is among the participants, coordinating rehearsals for young musicians from ten schools spread across Italy. These students worked under the guidance of Maestro Totti, who adapted the scores to facilitate learning for everyone, depending on their experience level.
