Casal di Principe. A petty argument escalated into tragedy on Saturday night. Luigi Bianco, son of notorious mafia boss Augusto, was arrested after stabbing a young man inside the Cirillo bakery, located on Corso Umberto I in Casal di Principe.
According to reconstructions, Bianco was annoyed by the ringtone of a boy from Villa Literno's cell phone, who allegedly invited him to answer. A trivial argument quickly escalated into violence: Bianco, after a verbal altercation, left the place, returned armed with a knife and stabbed the young man in the chest.
The victim was left on the ground in a pool of blood, while the attacker fled. Rushed to the Cardarelli hospital in Naples, the injured man underwent delicate surgery and remains in critical condition.
In the meantime, Luigi Bianco has spontaneously turned himself in to the Carabinieri, who have arrested him. The prison doors have opened for him, while investigations continue to clarify every detail of what happened.
