A 47-year-old man from Gricignano d'Aversa was arrested by Caserta Carabinieri on charges of attempted murder. After a violent argument with his partner, he allegedly hit her with his car, crushing her against a gate and causing serious fractures to her pelvis and hips.
Despite the serious injuries, the woman was initially treated at home by the attacker himself to avoid reporting him. Only after about a month, and thanks to the investigations of the Carabinieri based on environmental and telephone interceptions, the truth emerged.
The arrested man, previously held for mafia, extortion, and drug trafficking offenses, was issued a pre-trial detention order by the investigating judge of Naples North. He has been in prison since September 3rd for his involvement in drug trafficking with a local clan.

This episode is really sad, but even if the woman suffered bad blows, the man should have had more self-control in such difficult situations. I don't understand how such things can happen.
