Palazzo Palumbo in Giugliano will become the stage for the musical festival Il Salone degli Ozi, an event that will be held from December 20, 2024 to May 17, 2025. This initiative, conceived and directed by Ilaria Vitale, celebrates the writer Gianbattista Basile and the Accademia degli oziosi, creating a meeting between culture and music.
### The Program of Inviting Performances
The concert schedule will begin on December 20 with Francesco Di Bella, who will perform acoustic versions of songs from 24 Grana and his solo career. On December 30, it will be Grass 'n Wood's turn and Sergio Carlino with his band, on a musical journey from the Mediterranean to the United States. The following month will see Megaride perform a new collaborative project with Almamegretta on January 24, followed by Giovanni Block on January 31, with a concert inspired by cinema.
### Prominent Musicians and Collaborations
On stage, on February 28, the third album “Terra di madonne” by Fede 'n Marlen will be presented. The Terza Classe, in a reduced formation, will offer on March 21 a repertoire that ranges from American to European folk. On April 11 it will be the turn of Francesco Lettieri, who will share his artistic journey. The closing of the festival, scheduled for May 17, will have as its protagonist Gianluca Rovinello and his new solo project.
