Traffic at a standstill on the A1 Milan-Naples due to an accident involving two heavy vehicles at km 575, in the section between the junction with the A24 Rome-L'Aquila-Teramo , Rome South branch (D19), in the direction of Naples. The accident made it necessary to temporary closure of the stretch, with traffic currently permitted on only one lane.

The situation has generated a queue of 6 km southbound, causing major inconvenience to motorists. The emergency services intervened on site medical and mechanical assistance, the patrols of the Police Police and the staff of Direction 5th section of Fiano Romano of Autostrade per l'Italia, committed to restoring road safety.

For those heading to Naples, it is recommended to take the A24 towards Roma, continue on Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) southwards, then take the D19 and return to the A1. Real-time updates are available on Autostrade per l'Italia channels to monitor the evolution of the situation and reduce inconvenience to users.

The traffic situation on the A1 due to the accident seems serious, but it is not clear whether it is possible to predict when everything will return to normal. The suggestions to divert onto the A24 and GRA seem useful, but it would be better to have more information.
