Increase in student accommodation and beds thanks to Pnrr resources

Implementation of Bed Places for University Students

In the context of the initiatives supported through the resources of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), a significant expansion of the facilities dedicated to out-of-town university students has been planned. Among the objectives, there is that of increasing the overall number of beds, from the current 40 thousand to a total of 100 thousand. This strategy aims to align with European trends, providing greater housing support to students.

Reserved Quota for Deserving Students

A portion of the new beds, at least 30%, will be allocated to deserving students from families with a low ISEE (Income Sequence Index). This measure is intended to provide additional support to students struggling with high rent and living costs far from their homes.
