The SS163 Amalfitana, interrupted since yesterday evening due to the collapse of an embankment between Vietri sul Mare and Cetara, has been reopened in record time. Thanks to the timely intervention of the Mayor of cetara, Fortunato Della Monica, who activated all the necessary procedures to secure the area, managed to limit the inconvenience for residents and tourists during the Christmas holidays.
Starting from 18pm today, after a clearing and safety intervention carried out by a construction company in charge of the emergency works, the road was reopened to vehicular traffic with directions of travel alternating, regulated by traffic lights.
The remediation of the area, which began this morning, will continue in the coming days to ensure complete safety intervention.

It's true, safety is important and you always have to be careful. But I'm glad the work was done quickly for the good of everyone, residents and tourists.
