The Carabinieri of the mobile radio section and the Torre del Greco station arrested Nino Balzano, a 55-year-old local, for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing, and Alessandro Paino, a 21-year-old, for resisting a public official.
Balzano, who was already under house arrest, was caught during a routine check while throwing plastic bags containing 41 doses of cocaine and almost 50 grams of hashish from his terrace.

Subsequently, a search of his home led to the seizure of notes for the reporting of the activities of shop, two cell phones, drug packaging material and several banknotes. During the operations, Paino also reacted by threatening the carabinieri with death.

Balzano was transferred to prison awaiting trial, while Paino was placed under house arrest.
