A serious episode occurred yesterday late in the afternoon in Casagiove, at a community for minors located in via Calabria. An argument between two young people degenerated, leading to the use of cutting weapons.
During the fight, a 16-year-old boy, a guest of the facility, was stabbed by an 18-year-old. Fortunately, the minor's injuries were not serious: the stabs hit his arm and wrist. The young man, of foreign origin, was promptly rescued first by the community staff and then by health workers who rushed to the scene.
In an attempt to calm things down, a worker at the center also suffered a minor shoulder injury.
The police, alerted immediately, intervened with a patrol car. The agents of the Caserta police headquarters are now investigating to clarify the dynamics of the facts and the responsibilities.

This is a terrible thing that happens in places where young people should be safe. I hope that the authorities understand how it happened and take the right measures to prevent other similar things from happening.
