Luigi Avella, 27, one of the two missing men involved in the raid against the Case Nuove gang led by the aspiring young boss, Emanuele Marigliano 'o nano, was stopped and arrested by the State Police near his home.
Avella was at the Case Nuove prison, thinking it was a place where the police would never look for him, but instead the officers were waiting for him. They surrounded him and arrested him without any problem. Now he too will have Christmas lunch with the other inmates at Poggioreale prison.
Of the Marigliano fire team, only 31-year-old Antonio Argentino remains free, immortalized in an image attached to the precautionary warrant, having shot the nine members of the group with a gun in his hand.

These arrests were made as part of the investigation coordinated by the Naples DDA, which began with the attempted murder of 22-year-old Raffaele Frenna, who was injured on November 5, 2023, in Piazza Mercato in Naples following an argument that broke out over trivial matters in a club in Posillipo.
The investigations have shed light on the ongoing feud between two groups of young people linked to criminal contexts in the Spanish Quarters and the so-called New houses, in the Piazza Mercato area, which then resulted in repeated 'stese' and the attempted murder of Frenna, totally unconnected to the facts but cousin of one of the individuals who had taken part in the fight.

It's incredible how the police managed to find Luigi Avella in a place where he thought he was safe. It seems that the investigation is making progress, but I wonder if there will be more arrests in the future.
