Leader of the ranking
Andrea Orcel, the CEO of Unicredit, is at the top of the list. Orcel is currently busy on several fronts internationally, trying to establish a balance with the German government regarding Commerzbank. At the same time, he is leading important acquisitions in Romania, Poland and Belgium. Another strategic step for the company is the recent move on Banco BPM, which further strengthens its leadership.
