The band Vipera has released its first single, Marelua, a mix of musical influences that combines the thrill of surfing with dark themes and introspection.
A New Sound Path
With a raw and powerful sound, "Marelua" marks an important milestone in the artistic career of Vipera, originally from Rosà and formed in October 2022. Initially oriented towards stoner rock, the band later integrated elements of metal and prog, enriching their sound with greater intensity and complexity.
Universal and Dark Themes
The band's lyrics delve into fears and vices, placing particular emphasis on the "monsters" that characterize modern society. The lineup consists of Christian Baggio "Baio" on vocals, Bernardo Cardeal "Berna" on guitar, Marco "Caronte" Nerboldi on bass, and Dimitri "Jimot" Martini on drums.

Marelua is an interesting single, but I don't know if I like it that much. The band Vipera did a good job but the lyrics are a bit too complicated for me. I don't really understand the themes they deal with.
