An original nativity scene has been installed inside Naples' Toledo station, one of the most evocative in the world. Ciro Marotta, an employee of the Azienda Napoletana Mobilità (ANM), is the creator of this unique installation, which has already captured the attention of many.
December 8th traditionally marks the start of Christmas decorations, and Toledo Station was transformed into an unexpected setting for the Nativity celebration. The nativity scene was created using recycled materials and placed near the station entrance.
The figures of Mary, Joseph and some shepherds are placed in front of the imposing escalators, integrated into the scenography, while the background is dominated by the Crater de luz, an architectural feature designed by Óscar Tusquets.
Trade unionist Adolfo Vallini, who launched the initiative, noted that Ciro Marotta is no stranger to such initiatives, having already created the wooden Christmas tree and the giant Easter egg, both of which were displayed at the Toledo metro station.

The nativity scene that was placed at the Toledo station is very beautiful and interesting. However, there are many people who say that it is not really traditional. I think it is a good idea to attract visitors, but not everyone agrees.
