Sports journalist Gian Paolo Ormezzano has died at the age of 89, as announced by the newspaper La Stampa, for which he was a columnist. Born in Turin in 1935, Ormezzano had a long career, working for 'Tuttosport', of which he was also director.

A multifaceted professional, he was also a writer and television commentator, a passionate fan of Torino. He told with 'irony and competence' Italian sport, broadening his horizons beyond football.
