During the Christmas holidays, the Teatro dei Piccoli in Naples becomes a lively cultural center for children and young people, staging a series of live shows. From December 8 to January 6, the theater plans nine days dedicated to music, theater and arthouse cinema for the younger ones.
The shows are designed to involve children aged 3 and up and are organised by Casa del Contemporaneo/Le Nuvole, I Teatrini and Progetto Sonora, supported by the Municipality of Naples and the Mostra d'Oltremare.
Scheduled Events
The Christmas season begins on December 8 with “Schiaccianoci Swing” by Bottega degli Apocryfi of Foggia, a combination of physical theater and musical performance. The program includes the project “Invisibile,” designed for the visually impaired and blind, and “Santa Claus and the Night of Gifts,” a mix of clowning and actor theater. It will be possible to attend the “Gran Concerto di Natale” by the Ensemble di Progetto Sonora and the musical “Il Pigiama a Pois.”
Cinema and Shows in January
During the Epiphany weekend, the theater will screen animated films such as “Yuku and the Himalayan Flower” and host theatrical performances such as “Rapunzel.” The closing event scheduled for January 6 will be “Favole al Telefono,” a tribute to the creations of Gianni Rodari. This Christmas program also allows you to discover the offers of the Family Cards for access throughout the year.
Tickets, available at a cost of €9, are for all visitors aged 3 and over. The theatre can be accessed from Viale Usodimare and Via Terracina, with a special parking lot available. Reservations are recommended, by calling the telephone numbers 08118903126 and 3270795871 or by sending an email to info@teatrodeipiccoli.it. More information is available on the website www.teatrodeipiccoli.it and on the social page @teatrodeipiccoli.

I think these shows are very interesting for kids, but I don't know if I'll go. Maybe the prices are a bit high for families with many children. Anyway, it's nice that there are these initiatives in Naples.
