2024 was a year of notable importance for theater culture in Italy, characterized by high-quality productions that highlighted theater, classical music, and artistic storytelling. In Naples, under the initiative of the ICRA project directed by Michele Monetta and Lina Salvatore, the program “Attori si nasce, ma si diventa” saw the participation of 70 young talents under 35 in 12 different productions, distributed across seven Italian regions.
Interdisciplinary Success
The program “Parole sul mimo” broadcast on RADIO RAI3 has demonstrated a significant cultural impact, entertaining and educating a large audience. The project involved 87 students from several Italian regions, as well as from France, Switzerland and Romania, in a variety of training activities such as exercises, masterclasses and prestigious ateliers.
A Year of Commitment and Collaboration
During 2024, the cultural panorama included events of different genres, including meetings dedicated to emblematic figures such as Samuel Beckett, William Shakespeare and Anton Chekhov. Important topics such as “The body in the 900th century” and famous personalities of literature and theatre were addressed. The events took place in evocative locations such as the Teatro Trianon, the baroque Church of San Severo al Pendino, the Museo Duca di Martina and the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. The support of prestigious academic institutions such as DAMS in Bologna and the Silvio d'Amico National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rome has consolidated a robust cultural network at national and international level.
