In Naples, on December 11th at 11:13 a.m., a conference entitled "Sveva Project. Tailoring Workshop. Migrant Women's Headwear for Cancer Patients" will be held. The event will take place in the Chamber of the Campania Regional Council, at the Naples Business Center (FXNUMX), and will present a solidarity initiative promoted by the "Il Sentiero" social cooperative in Teggiano as part of the SAI (Welcome and Integration System) projects. The project involves the production of turbans and headwear for cancer patients, made by migrant women.

Tommaso Pellegrino, regional councilor and medical director at the Breast Unit of the "Federico II" University Hospital in Naples;
Loredana Raia, Vice President of the Regional Council of Campania;

Luigi Vertucci, mayor of Atena Lucana;
Fiore Marotta, President of the "Il Sentiero" social cooperative;
Don Vincenzo Federico, President of the "Ri-Guarda OdV" Association;
Maria D'Elia, Sole Director of the Mondragone Foundation Fashion Museum, Naples;
Roberto Bianco, Director of the Oncology Unit at the "Federico II" University Hospital.
The conference will be moderated by journalist Stefania Marino. During the event, ten women will wear different headdress models, including those named "Rebecca," "Vivian," "Samya," "Jamila," and "Chantal."
The Sveva Project, launched in 2023 and dedicated to the memory of Sveva Ferrajoli, wife of the mayor of Bellosguardo, involves migrant women hosted in reception centers in Atena Lucana, Sant'Arsenio, Sanza, Buonabitacolo, and Montesano sulla Marcellana. These women work in the workshops Sala Consilina and Bellosguardo, creating headdresses as a sign of solidarity and integration.
