Naples. Shooting returns to downtown Naples, after a few weeks of respite. Shots were fired this afternoon near a barber shop on the central and crowded Corso Umberto.
A 52-year-old man was wounded in the legs. Investigations are underway by the Police who have carried out an inspection to search for traces of blood, possible cartridges and above all witnesses.

Corso Umberto, also known as the "straight road," is the long, busy street that connects the station to the city center. It's also frequented by many pedestrians, partly due to the many shops. The area is covered by a large number of public and private security cameras, the footage of which will be analyzed by the police.

The injured man was transported to the nearby Vecchio Pellegrini hospital. State Police officers from the Decumani and Montecalvario police stations intervened on the scene, to whom the 52-year-old reported that he had been injured while he was in via Michele Pironti, in that area the 24-year-old Emanuele Tufano from the Sanità district was killed on October 15.
