A patrol of soldiers from the Campania Group, involved in the "Safe Roads" operation, carried out a rescue operation in Naples on Christmas Eve. While on duty in Piazza Garibaldi, the soldiers noticed an unconscious man in his 40s.
After confirming the absence of a heartbeat, the military immediately applied Basic Life Support techniques, managing to revive him. Subsequently, the man was transported to the emergency room of theHospital of the Sea from Naples by means of a 118 ambulance.
Colonel Romano Ventura, commander of the group, expressed his appreciation for the personnel involved, underlining "how constant training always leads to excellent results, contributing to increasing confidence in the work of those who, twenty-four hours a day, are at the service of the citizen".
