"For hours I've been receiving threatening text messages and phone calls telling me to mind my own business and not get involved in politics," or, if I want, to "live to be 100 years old." I've already filed a complaint with the police." This is the message posted on social media by Antonello Sannino, president of Antinoo. Arcigay NAPLES.
"Sannino did well to promptly report the threats he received to the authorities. No one should be subjected to such intimidation. The condemnation must be unanimous, as must the support.
With Antonello, we will continue to work alongside him for the common good." This is what Gilda Sportiello, MP and coordinator of the M5S in Naples, wrote in a statement. She expressed her solidarity with the president of Antinoo Arcigay regarding the "alarming and vile intimidating messages from anonymous individuals."

It is really worrying that situations like this occur in a civilized society. Threats and intimidation should never be tolerated, especially when they concern those who fight for rights. We hope that the authorities take these complaints seriously.
