
Seventh anniversary for the art of Neapolitan pizzaiuolo
NAPLES (ITALPRESS) - A major celebration was held at the historic Pizzeria Brandi, in honor of the seventh anniversary of the recognition of the art of Neapolitan pizza making as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The event, promoted by the UniVerde Foundation, was attended by numerous representatives of the city and cultural scene.
A meeting between tradition and culture
During the ceremony, a new artisanal nativity scene created by master nativity scene maker Gennaro De Filippo was inaugurated.

Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio, a key figure in organizing the event, emphasized the impact of UNESCO recognition on the art of Neapolitan pizza making. These seven years have seen an increase in the demand for pizza makers trained according to traditional standards and in the export of Campanian and Italian agri-food products. Pecoraro Scanio emphasized how UNESCO recognition has played a crucial role in combating the phenomenon of "Italian-sounding" products and promoting job opportunities in the sector.

It's really a nice event to celebrate the art of Neapolitan pizza making, but I don't understand why every time there are always the same people talking and you don't see new people. Maybe there should be more diversity in the participants.
