The Naples Local Police is intensifying operations against the phenomenon of illegal parking attendants, in line with the directives of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety, chaired by the Prefect Michele of Bari. Between November 9 and December 16, 83 people were reported for illegally operating parking facilities.
The enforcement action also led to the seizure of 1.375 vehicles and the issuing of 25.476 fines for violations of the Highway Code. Targeted checks were carried out in the area of the Maradona stadium, where 11 illegal parking attendants were fined, 5 illegal street vendors with the related seizure of goods, and 10 illegal occupations of public land were ascertained. Also in the area, 200 fines were issued for violations of the Highway Code and 184 vehicles, including cars and motorcycles, were towed away.
Significant interventions also took place in the city's nightlife areas: here the Police issued 356 reports for violations of the Highway Code, withdrew a taxi license, reported 10 illegal parking attendants, and issued 51 fines for violations committed by commercial businesses. In addition, 3 irregularities were discovered related to the employment of foreign workers without a regular contract.
The intensification of controls represents a clear signal in the fight against widespread illegality, with the aim of ensuring greater order and security in the city.
