A special initiative lights up the eastern part of Naples, where the Istituto Comprensivo 46 Scialoja-Cortese-Rodinò is lighting up Christmas with a Living Nativity Scene. The event aims to convey a message of hope and unity within the local community, often in the news.
### The Christmas message
Under the motto “It’s Christmas every time we let love grow in our hearts,” approximately 180 students, ages 4 to 13, will perform Christmas carols in the streets of the Barra, Ponticelli, and San Giovanni neighborhoods. The “Christmas Carol” initiative, scheduled for December 12 to 20, brings joy and celebration through music, involving the entire community.
### Events and inclusion
On December 18 and 19, at 16:30 p.m., the “Living Solidarity Nativity Scene” will be held at the Salvemini complex in Barra. This event will also offer the opportunity to promote inclusion and altruism, concluding with a concert by the school choir. Participants are invited to donate basic food supplies to the solidarity emporium of the Parish of San Giuseppe and Madonna di Lourdes and the Oasi Center, both in San Giovanni a Teduccio.
### Educational commitment and community
The school principal, Professor Rosa Stornaiuolo, highlighted the importance of highlighting the beauty of the eastern area of Naples and encouraging young people to discover and create beauty. The event is supported by the PNRR and Agenda Sud funds to reduce territorial gaps and combat school dropout. The success of this initiative is the result of a synergy between the institutions. The Istituto Comprensivo 46 Scialoja-Cortese-Rodinò confirms itself as an essential point of reference in the area, offering training opportunities to enhance the skills and passions of students.
