The Pierrot cinema in Naples is preparing to welcome Neri Marcorè, a famous figure in Italian cinema and entertainment, who will present “Zamora”, his directorial debut, on Tuesday 10 December 2024, with screenings scheduled at 18 pm and 21 pm.

Presentation of “Zamora”
Alongside Marcorè, there will be Ruggero Cappuccio, a well-known writer and director, and two actors from the film's cast: Giovanni Esposito and Anna Ferraioli Ravel. Esposito boasts a long career in cinema and television, while Ferraioli Ravel is an established actress both on the big screen and in the theater. Neri Marcorè: an eclectic career
A qualified parliamentary interpreter, Neri Marcorè began his artistic career as an impersonator at Rai, alongside well-known personalities of Italian television. He has played roles in theater, cinema and television, for masters of the caliber of Pupi Avati, and has collected prestigious awards including a Nastro d'argento. Marcorè is also known for his civil commitment, awarded the title of Officer in the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
The film work “Zamora”
“Zamora” tells the story of Walter Vismara, an accountant in Vigevano, whose routine is disrupted when he joins a company in Milan, where the owner, a soccer fan, forces employees to play weekly matches. Vismara, believing soccer to be an absurd sport, pretends to be a goalkeeper and, humiliated by his colleagues, prepares an original revenge. This feature film aims to address themes of revenge and innovation.

The festival continues until May with a membership offering 25 films for 50 euros and a membership reserved for young people up to 30 years old at a cost of 25 euros. Tickets for individual screenings are available for 5 euros. Registration is open at the Pierrot during the Cineforum evenings and at the Arci Movie headquarters. It seems like an interesting event, but I don't know if I can go. Neri Marcorè has done many beautiful things, but I have never seen his work. Maybe I should learn more about the film "Zamora" to better understand what it is about.
This event at the Pierrot cinema is very interesting, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to go on December 10th. Even though Neri Marcorè is great, I read that the film is about football, which I don't like very much.
