A One of a Kind Event
On December 6, 2024, at 19.00:100 p.m., participants will have the opportunity to attend a unique event in the Autumn Concerts program organized by the Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti. The very young musicians will perform a scenic-musical action inspired by Franz Kafka's last literary vision, paying homage to the XNUMXth anniversary of his death.
On stage 'Giuseppina the singer'
Centered on the story “Josephine the Singer,” written by Kafka in 1924, this performance will explore the illusions and fears depicted by the writer. Josephine, a little mouse who proclaims herself an artist, will be the protagonist of a scene accompanied by fragments of the text and a varied musical selection. The pieces will include works by composers such as Stravinsky, Rossini, Khachaturian, Berio, Bach and Britten, framed by an original composition conducted by Giuseppe Galiano.
A Meeting Between Music and Theatre
The idea for the event is curated by the Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti, with the stage entrusted to Gaetano Russo and the reduction of the texts to Enzo Viccaro. Tickets are available online at azzurroservice.net or at the box office one hour before the start, offering an extra opportunity for those who wish to live a significant cultural experience. The event looks interesting, but I hope it is well organized and there are no problems with the music or the theater. Kafka's story is complex, so I hope the young musicians can convey the message well without confusing the audience too much.
