Naples. A new chapter has been written in the bloody feud between the Rinaldi and Mazzarella clans. The Court of Assizes of Appeal of Naples has reduced the sentences of the perpetrators of the murder of Luigi Mignano, which took place on April 9, 2019 in the San Giovanni a Teduccio neighborhood.

A crime that had shocked the city, not only for the cruelty of the execution, but also for the context in which it occurred: in front of a nursery school, with small children horrified witnesses of the scene.
An abandoned backpack on the ground, right next to Mignano's lifeless body, made the image of that ambush even more tragic, so much so that the crime was nicknamed "of the backpack".
The judges sentenced Gennaro Autiero to twenty years in prison, Giuseppe Musella to thirty years and confirmed the life sentences for Ciro Rosario Terracciano, Giovanni Salomone and Pasquale Ariosto.
