Kai Dausel was arrested this morning, accused of the murder of his partner Silvia Nowak, which occurred about two months ago. The 53-year-old German woman was found lifeless and half-charred in Ogliastro Marina last October.
The Carabinieri of the Agropoli Company executed, at dawn, a custodial order issued against Dausel. The operation, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Vallo della Lucania, was conducted under the direction of Deputy Prosecutor Cantarella, who collected evidence deemed essential to charge the man with the crime.
The tragic death of Silvia Nowak shocked the community of Ogliastro Marina and the entire Cilento. The woman, who had moved to Italy with her partner, was found lifeless in an area near their home. Dausel had initially reported her missing, but the investigation soon focused on him.
Yesterday, the man had taken part in the inauguration ceremony of a red bench dedicated to the memory of the victim. A presence that, in light of recent developments, takes on a disturbing meaning.
