The prestigious award “The excellence of the territory in the arts and professions” will be presented on December 27, 2024 by the Lions Club Benevento Host to Professor Onofrio Catalano, an illustrious luminary of radiology who holds the chair at Harvard Medical School and a radiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital.
The recognition, which is among the services of the Lions district 108 ya, this year wanted to reward the authority of Professor Catalano, originally from Ceppaloni but who has been working and collecting international successes in the United States of America for years.
The Lions district service aims to pay homage to professional, artistic, sporting and entrepreneurial figures who stand out within the district territory.
"With this initiative - the members of the Lions Club Benevento Host say - we want to highlight the ability and quality of the men and women of the territory by giving them the right recognition and due thanks. With this event, the intention of the Lions to serve and put themselves at the service of the territory where they operate and where the members live is clear".
The awards ceremony will take place in the hall of the municipal council of Benevento in the presence of the mayor.

Professor Catalano's award is a great event for the area. Many hard-working professionals deserve recognition, but I don't know if it's right to give an award to just one. Anyway, congratulations.
