Monteforte Irpino, 51-year-old worker dies after falling from a warehouse

A new workplace accident occurred today in Irpinia, where a 51-year-old worker, originally from the Salerno area, lost his life following a fall. The incident occurred in a warehouse located in Monteforte Irpino, during construction work.

According to preliminary information provided by investigators, the worker was working on the insulation of the roof of an industrial warehouse when he fell from a height of approximately three meters.

Emergency responders immediately arrived at the scene and attempted to revive the man, but were unsuccessful.

The investigation was initiated by the Carabinieri of the local station, with the aim of reconstructing the exact circumstances of the accident. The public prosecutor on duty from the Avellino prosecutor's office was also present at the scene, and ordered the body transported to the Moscati hospital in Avellino for further examination.
