The Christmas tree at the Botanical Garden of Naples has been stolen. Director Paolo Caputo announced that the fir tree, approximately 3 meters tall and decorated with cyclamen, was intended to be planted in the Garden after the holidays.
The tree was taken out of the pot and thrown over the boundary wall.

Caputo filed a complaint and stated that the felled tree will be replaced. He emphasized the importance of raising public awareness of green culture and sustainable behavior, expressing concern about potential damage to rarer plants, protected for conservation purposes.

I am very sorry for what happened to the Christmas tree in the botanical garden of Naples. It is sad to see that someone does not respect nature and plants. I hope that a way will be found to better protect the trees.
