CAIVANO – All 204 families accused of illegally occupying housing in the Parco Verde di Caivano, in the province of Naples, have submitted a request for regularization. This was announced by the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, during a press conference at the headquarters of the Extraordinary Commissioner for the redevelopment of Caivano, Fabio Ciciliano, in the presence of the Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council, Alfredo Mantovano.
Parco Verde, a residential complex consisting of 750 apartments, had recorded 240 cases of illegal occupation.

"All the families, the day after the eviction of the 36 apartments, presented to the Municipality of Caivano a request for availability to regularize their position – explained the Prefect –. There is the possibility of undertaking a supported path, and this has brought serenity back to the local context."
