Piantedosi announces the arrival of 479 new law enforcement officers in Naples. The State Police currently has 5.492 officers in the province of Naples, the Carabinieri have 4.164 soldiers, and the Guardia di Finanza have 1.894.
Since January 1st, 45.712 additional police officers have been assigned to manage public events and ensure order and security. A further increase in staffing is expected in the coming months, with 479 new State Police and Carabinieri officers, adding to the 741 officers already assigned this year, Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi stated during question time in the Chamber of Deputies.
Also 300 new cameras
"We are also improving security by strengthening video surveillance systems with more than 300 new cameras and developing further projects of this kind in Campania. We will continue with 'High Impact' operations at night in critical areas of the city, which this year have enabled the screening of approximately 45 people, resulting in 43 arrests, 490 reports, and the expulsion of 11 foreign citizens ," Piantedosi concluded.

It's good that new police units are arriving in Naples to improve security, but I wonder if it's enough. People need to feel protected, especially in these difficult and uncertain times, let's hope for the best.
