Amedeo Di Maro, 50, resident in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, has been sent to trial. The order was issued by the Public Prosecutor of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, Dr. Armando Bosso, at the end of a series of investigations conducted by judicial police officers.

The events date back to about a year ago, when Di Maro violently broke into the Gallozzi School in the city, where his son attended classes. Inside the building there were some parents protesting against a teacher. On that occasion, Di Maro suddenly attacked Professor Giuseppe Morelli, a teacher at the school and vice principal, hitting him with a violent punch in the face.

The attack caused serious voluntary injuries to the teacher, which were initially thought to heal in 20 days, but later continued for up to approximately 80 days due to complications, including trauma to the eyeball.

The accusation against Di Maro, formulated by Deputy Prosecutor Bosso, is aggravated by the qualification of public official held by Professor Morelli, as a tenured teacher and vice principal of the school. The investigation was started following the complaint-report filed by the victim, assisted by the lawyers Gaetano and Raffaele Crisileo.

Professor Morelli went to the local Police Station to report the incident, thus allowing the investigations to begin which led to the identification of the attacker.

Lawyer Gaetano Crisileo announced that he will join the civil action against the defendant.

The article talks about a very serious fact that happened in a school. It is never right to use violence, especially in an educational environment. I hope that justice takes its course and that everything is resolved in the best way.
