The green campaign "Pet Carpet: an Oscar-worthy recycling" is back

The third edition of "Pet Carpet: Oscar-Winning Recycling" is underway, an initiative that aims to give new life to our pets' unused accessories. Created by the Pet Carpet association, the campaign is designed to reduce waste in the world of four-legged friends.

An Event for Solidarity

The initiative will be officially presented on December 13, 2024, at the Circolo Canottieri Roma, hosted by the association's president and an actor known for his roles in TV series and theater. The event is sponsored by Fnovi and organized in collaboration with the Italian State Police, the Carabinieri, and volunteers from the City Angels association.

Participation in the Collection

Anyone wishing to contribute can go to the Club or to one of the Pet Store Giulius collection centers to drop off accessories such as kennels, bowls, and carriers.

These items will then be distributed to shelters, where volunteers care for less fortunate animals.

An Awareness Campaign

The project also encourages the public to respect the environment by recycling and using biodegradable bags when walking their dogs. The importance of respecting road regulations is also emphasized to ensure the safety of both animals and humans while traveling.

It seems like a nice initiative to help animals that need accessories. However, I don't really understand how the collection works, and I hope it is well publicized to get as many people as possible to participate.
